The building, the construction of which was completed in 1900, was used as a quarters till 1934, and it was restored and entered into service under the name of Çekirge Adapalas on 11 May, 1934.
   
On 15 April, 1943, by the order of governor, it was put to use of the 5th aeroplane regiment as a quarters, and continued on its service again as a hotel on 22 April, 1944.
 
 
 
 

 

After the fire set off in the room No.23, at 3rd floor on 1 Nowember, 1951, the hotel was rebuilt and put to service on 12.06.1953. The Project was designed by high architect Beşir Düvenli and decorator Mr. Aydın.

 
 
The bower restaurant built within Adapalas in 1960 was put into service. Adapalas Bower Restaurant which became renowned worldwide and carried on servicing till 1983 introduced the distinguished bower kebab as a Bursa dish into the kitchen culture. .
